Venture Capital : Colombia and Mexico
We are a Venture Capital Fund that invest in creative and innovative thinkers.
Venture Academy Fund (“VAF”) has the objective of investing in high growth startups and entrepreneurial ven- tures in Mexico and Colombia that take advantage of market opportunities through online platforms, mobile applications, technology and others.
We consider Mexico and Colombia to be an opportunistic market because of its growing entrepreneurial eco- system. Moreover we see potential in the current Venture Capital market, specifically in Seed and Series A rounds investing, since most of the current VC’s concentrate in Series B or higher investments.
We are a venture capital firm that invests in startups led by creative thinkers. We partner with entrepreneurs who make products and services for consumers as well as business people.
VAF will offer mentoring, continuous feedback, and industry knowledge through our vast network. Our funds and financial advice will ensure local market success, while experience in cross border transactions give us the ability to expand the ventures into new markets.
“VENTURE ACADEMY FUND SEEKS TO INVEST FOR THE LONG-TERM IN PEOPLE AND COMPANIES THAT HAVE SHOWN POTENTIAL. WE AIM TO BE THE BEST, MOST LOYAL LONG-TERM PARTNER TO ENTREPRENEURS.”
WithVenture Academy Fund, you get more than money. You get experience, connections, and a level of engagement that makes a real difference .
Size of Investment
Our investments range from several hundred thousand dollars of seed capital up to $1.5 million of Series A. We have the capability, by partnering with other Beamonte Investments affiliates, to lead transactions requiring equity capital in excess of $10 million.
We make investments across all stages of a company’s growth - from seed capital through late stage growth equity and growth buyouts. With a strong preference on seed and Series A.
Venture Academy was born from the idea that with the right information and guidance, any start-up can be successful.
The path from business idea to business maturity can be long and difficult, with many uncertainties along the way. Most start-ups know where they want to go, but do not know how to get there.
